The Central Weather Administration (CWA) has issued orange and yellow heat advisories for parts of Taiwan, in effect from the morning of Saturday (26 September) through the late afternoon of Saturday (26 September).
• Tainan City is under an orange-level heat alert, with the daily maximum temperature expected to reach 36 degrees Celsius for three consecutive days.
• Yellow-level heat information is in effect for Nantou County and Pingtung County, where daily maximum temperatures are expected to reach 36 degrees Celsius.
