As per reports, six departments are under orange alerts for flood until Wednesday (03 January) evening. This alert was issued on Tuesday (02 January) for the Meuse, the Moselle, the Ardennes, Finistère, the North and Meurthe-et-Moselle departments.

• The Pas-de-Calais department remains on red flood alert until Wednesday (03 January) evening.
• Rainfall and stormy weather conditions are expected to continue in the northern region of the country until Thursday (04 January).
