As per reports, the French Metro Management and Operation Company has announced an extension of the regular operating schedule for the Cairo Metro Line Three, also known as the Green Line, on Thursday (28 May).

• The operational extension has been implemented to facilitate the movement of large commuter crowds following the friendly football match between the national teams of Egypt and Russia.
• The sporting event is scheduled to take place at the Cairo International Stadium on Thursday (28 May) at 2100 hours local time (1800 hours UTC).
• Reports indicate that the closing time for Metro Line Three will be extended by an additional hour, keeping the transit line fully operational until 0200 hours local time on Friday (29 May) (2300 hours UTC on 28 May).
• Reports suggest that the adjusted schedule aims to provide safe, fast, and structured transportation services for sports fans immediately following the conclusion of the match.
