As per reports, The Deputy of the Highway Police Command of the Law Enforcement Command of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Colonel Siavash Mohebi, has announced the implementation of one-way traffic restrictions along Chalus Road (Road 59) and the Tehran-North Freeway (Freeway 03) on Friday (28 August).

• The restriction is expectes to remain in effect dynamically until traffic congestion eases across the Alborz mountain passes, after which bidirectional transit is expected to be re-evaluated.
• Semi-heavy traffic has been reported on the south-to-north section of Chalus Road between Zangoleh Bridge and Siah Bisheh, while the Tehran-North Freeway around Tunnel No. 18 is also experiencing semi-heavy traffic.
• Scattered rainfall has been reported on some roads in Mazandaran Province, creating additional driving risks. The non-arterial Taleghan-Hashtgerd road remains closed between the Taleghan area and the Fashand-Ardeh junction.
