As per reports, a theft was reported at a state bank branch in the Murar area of Gwalior on Tuesday (07 April), where two unidentified women allegedly stole INR one lakh in cash from the bag of a retired government officer inside the bank premises.

• The victim had withdrawn a large amount of cash and placed it in his bag before proceeding to update his passbook at a printing machine.
• While the victim was engaged at the passbook machine, the two women standing behind him in the queue took advantage of the crowded environment and discreetly removed bundles of cash from his bag.
