According to reports, Maharashtra’s Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) arrested a 32-year-old engineer from Nashik city on Wednesday (24 January). The individual, runs an import-export business, is accused of supporting and funding the terrorist organisation Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS). The individual allegedly transferred funds to ISIS on three separate occasions. The Maharashtra ATS is currently investigating associates of the accused across multiple states. Further details are awaited.
