As per reports, the Mayor’s Office in El Carmen de Viboral announced a nighttime mobility restriction under Decree 089 on Monday (26 October), scheduled to apply daily from 2230 hours local time (0330 hours UTC the following day) to 0500 hours local time (1000 hours UTC) until 27 November.
• Reports indicate that the measure covers the entire municipality to prevent minors from remaining or passing through public spaces during the established hours.
• The regulation outlines specific exceptions, including minors accompanied by parents or responsible adults who are not under the influence of alcohol or narcotics, students attending evening educational programs presenting institutional ID cards until 2300 hours local time (0400 hours UTC the following day), and medical emergencies or verified cases of force majeure.
• The Municipal Administration stated that non-compliance may result in police intervention and the adoption of protective measures for the minors involved.
