As per reports, the road next to Al-Jumhuriyah Bridge toward Tahrir Square in Baghdad has reopened after being closed since 2003 to ease traffic, effective as of Thursday (05 November).
• Its reopening restores an additional access route towards the Tahrir Square and provides another option for vehicles approaching this busy central area.
• The measure is particularly relevant to central Baghdad, where traffic movement is frequently affected by security arrangements, demonstrations, and temporary road restrictions.
