As per reports, the nationwide protests against the Sentencing Bill began on Sunday (14 December) across multiple regions of Brazil. Demonstrations were recorded in major cities such as São Paulo, Brasília, Rio de Janeiro, Salvador, Natal, Florianópolis, Belo Horizonte, and Manaus.

The protests were organized by social movements, popular organizations, unions, and left-wing activist groups under the slogan “Congress enemy of the people.”
