As per reports, Airports across the country, including Heathrow, Gatwick, Edinburgh, Birmingham and Manchester, all confirmed a Border Force problem was affecting passport control at e-gates on Tuesday (07 May).

• The outage comes just a day after news emerged of a hack on the Ministry of Defence, which has been blamed by sources on China. It is unclear if the e-gate crash was caused by a hack.
