As per reports, Narita Express operations were suspended Thursday morning (22 February) after a part of a concrete wall partially crumbled on the tracks of the JR Yokosuka Line in a tunnel between Shimbashi and Shinagawa stations at around 0310 hours.
• The Yokosuka Line also suspended service between Tokyo and Yokohama stations on Thursday morning (22 February). According to East Japan Railway Co. (JR East), services are expected to resume at around 1400 hours.
• Consequently, Narita Express trains, which connect Narita Airport in Chiba Prefecture and the greater Tokyo area, have not been operating from the first departure on all routes.
