As per reports, the mayor of Villarrica, Pablo Astete Mermoud, confirmed the suspension of classes for Wednesday (08 July) in the municipal establishments of the commune due to the intense frontal system that is hitting the La Araucanía region.
• There is a forecast of more than 140 mm of rain. The ground is saturated, and there will likely be landslides on Wednesday (08 July).
• Classes have been suspended in all municipal establishments inclusing urban and rural schools, high schools, kindergartens and nurseries.
