As per reports on Saturday (17 August), three wildfires continue to burn out of control near Pemberton with one of them growing to 700 hectares. Another wildfire burning is being reported in the Upper Elaho River wildfire, mapped at 394 hectares.

The Rutherford Creek wildfire remains at 62 hectares on Friday (16 August). Birkenhead Lake fire has crews continuing to work along Birkenhead Road. As on Friday (16 August), the presence of 29 firefighters, one helicopter and four pieces of heavy equipment were reported.
