Multi-vehicular collision reported in Agbopura, Trincomalee on Monday (14 April)

As per reports, a head-on collision occurred between a private passenger bus and a military transport vehicle at the 85th Milepost in the Agbopura Police Division on Monday (14 April). The initial collision led to a multi-vehicle accident and pile-up, resulting in one death and leaving over 20 persons injured.

The private bus was traveling from Mawanella to Trincomalee carrying 26domestic tourists when it collided with a heavy military vehicle heading Southward from Trincomalee.
