As per reports, a power system disruption affected Bangkok’s MRT Blue Line on Wednesday (17 December), resulting in the suspension of train services between Bang Phai and Lak Song stations. The disruption was reported at around 1422 hours (local time).

Bangkok Expressway and Metro (BEM) confirmed that the interruption was caused by an electrical system issue, while services on other sections of the MRT network continued to operate. Alternative transport arrangements were activated for affected commuters during the disruption.
