As per reports, a group of six mothers will begin a five-day hunger strike from Sunday (10 March) to Thursday (14 March) outside the United Kingdom (UK) Parliament to draw attention to parents in the UK who are skipping meals to feed their children. They plan on protesting between 1100 hours and 1600 hours each day and will stay in a nearby Buddhist centre each night.
They have a meeting scheduled in Parliament to discuss the next steps with Members of Parliament for Tuesday (12 March) at 1130 hours.
