• On Sunday (06 September), an Orange Heatwave Alert is to be in effect from 0100 hours local time (0000 hours UTC) on Sunday (06 September) to 0100 hours local time (0000 hours UTC) on Monday (07 September), with temperatures between 38 and 42 degrees Celsius, across Taroudant, Kenitra, Sidi Kacem, Sidi Slimane, Berrechid, Khouribga, Settat, Benslimane, Guelmim, El Jadida, Skhirate-Temara, Safi, Moulay Yacoub, Taounate, Larache, Ouezzane, Chichaoua, El Kelaa des Sraghna, Marrakech, Rehamna, Khemisset, Sale, Sidi Bennour, Youssoufia, Beni Mellal, Fquih Ben Salah, Nouaceur, Meknes, Essaouira, Fes and Khenifra.
