Mid-day meal workers to go on strike in Una District on Thursday (12 February)

As per reports, mid-day meal workers working in the government schools of the Una district will be on strike on Thursday (12 February) for their pending demands. To ensure that the mid-day meal arrangement in the schools is not affected due to the strike, the Education Department has issued necessary instructions to all the school managements.

The Deputy Director of the District Higher Education Department stated that the demands of mid-day meal workers are under the government and administration’s attention. The guidelines have been issued in light of the strike, and any inconveniences will be immediately reported to the department.
