The weather system is expected to bring persistent rainfall, gusty conditions, and potential disruptions to daily life and travel. Areas most at risk include the West Coast, Northland, and adjacent regions with rising river levels and saturated grounds from recent rains, increasing the likelihood of slips and flooding.
