The Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia) has issued a thunderstorm warning, forecasting heavy rainfall and strong winds across multiple regions in Malaysia, effective until 0700 hours local time on Tuesday (05 August).
The affected regions include:
• Perlis, Kedah (Langkawi), Johor: Batu Pahat, Pontian, Kulai, Johor Bahru.
• Sarawak: Sibu (Kanowit, Selangau) Mukah (Dalat, Mukah) Kapit (Song, Kapit, Belaga) Bintulu, Miri, Limbang.
• Sabah (Interior): Sipitang, Tenom, Kuala Penyu, Beaufort, Nabawan and Federal Territory of Labuan (WP Labuan).
