As per reports, Maratha activist Manoj Jarange has declared that he will lead a fresh protest march to Mumbai on Friday (29 August), demanding reservation for the Maratha community under the Other Backward Classes (OBC) quota by classifying Marathas as Kunbis.
Accordingly, Jarange has urged Maratha community members to prepare for a prolonged 12-13-day protest in Mumbai, stating his determination not to return without securing the reservation demand. Further details on the exact details of the protest march are awaited.
