Major train delays announced in Worcester on Friday (24 january)

As per reports, a fallen tree has caused significant disruption to rail services in the West Midlands region on Friday (24 january). The tree has blocked the railway line between Kidderminster and Birmingham Snow Hill.

• The incident was caused by Storm Éowyn, which brought high winds to the area.
• Delays and cancellations are expected for train services traveling from Worcester Foregate Street.
• Changes to services include routes between Worcester Foregate Street and Stratford, Kidderminster and Stratford, and Worcester Foregate Street and Dorridge.
• West Midlands Railway has announced ticket acceptance with National Express West Midlands for affected passengers.
