Major delays due to track work reported on NJ Transit on Friday (07 June)

As per reports, NJ Transit commuters faced significant delays on Friday (07 June) due to track work near New York Penn Station.

• As of 0920 hours (local time), delays of up to 45 minutes were reported for rail service to and from New York Penn Station.
• To mitigate the delays, Midtown Direct rail service was redirected to Hoboken.
• NJ Transit is honoring rail tickets and passes on alternative transportation options, including NJ Transit buses, private carriers, and PATH trains at Newark, Hoboken, and 33rd Street stations.
