As per reports, a magnitude 6.0 earthquake has been recorded near Bogo City, Cebu, at 0106 hours (local time) on Monday (13 October), according to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (PHIVOLCS).
• The tectonic quake was located approximately 14 km south 13 degrees west of Bogo City, at a shallow depth of 10 km.
• Instrumental intensity readings indicated Intensity V in Villaba, Leyte, while Intensity IV was recorded across several parts of Cebu, including Danao, Asturias, Argao City, Talisay, and Cebu City, as well as in Isabel, Hilongos, Ormoc City, and Abuyog in Leyte, and Hinunangan in Southern Leyte.
• No immediate reports of casualties or structural damage have been received. PHIVOLCS has advised the public to remain alert for possible aftershocks following the tremor.
