As per reports, a magnitude 4.6 earthquake was recorded in the sea, 26.4 kilometres East-Northeast of Hualien County at approximately 0208 hours of Wednesday (06 November). The earthquake caused tremors of Intensity-3 to be felt in parts of Hualien County and Yilan County, with tremors of Intensity-2 felt in parts of Nantou County.
