As per reports, a magnitude 4.6 earthquake was recorded approximately 227 km west of Bandon, Oregon, at around 1800 hours (local time) on Wednesday (27 November).
• The closest larger town where the earthquake might have been felt is Bandon, which has approximately 3,100 residents. People there likely experienced very weak shaking.
• The earthquake struck at a shallow depth of 10 kilometers.
• Aftershocks with magnitudes of 2.8 and 3.5 were recorded in the same region at 1815 hours (local time) and 2100 hours (local time), respectively.
