As per reports, a magnitude 4.5 earthquake was recorded approximately 107 km southwest of Brisas Barra de Suchiate, and 137 km south-southwest of Tapachula, off the coast of Chiapas, Mexico, on Wednesday (22 July).
The earthquake was recorded at 1103 hours local time (1703 hours UTC) at a depth of 17 km, classifying it as a shallow-focus event, and the epicentre was located at 13.861 degrees North, 92.927 degrees West.
