As per reports, the Servicio Sismológico Nacional (National Seismological Service) has reported a 4.0 magnitude earthquake, 65 kilometres southeast of Minatitlan, Veracruz, on Wednesday (03 April) at about 1829 hours (local time).

The quake was recorded at a moderate depth of 193 kilometres from the surface.
