Magnitude 3.4 earthquake reported near Padam, Kargil on Saturday (06 April)

As per reports, the National Center for Seismology (NCS) recorded a magnitude 3.4 earthquake about 22 km southwest of Padam, Kargil at 2255 hours (local time) on Saturday (06 April).

• The earthquake has been recorded at a very shallow depth of 10 km, whose epicenter was located in Kargil, Ladakh.
• The earthquake occurred at distance of about 83 km north of Kyelang, and 123 km southwest of Leh.
