The Multiplatform Application for Geohazard Mitigation and Assessment in Indonesia (MAGMA) issued an orange level II ash cloud advisory for Mount Ibu volcano at 1057 hours (local time) on Thursday (13 August).
Weather ranged from clear to overcast with visible white smoke of moderate intensity emerging from the main crater approximately 100-200 metres above the summit.
• Eruption earthquakes with amplitudes of 10-28 millimetres and a duration of 32-98 seconds were recorded.
