As per reports, the climate advocacy organisation Last Generation, has announced a scheduled protest in Berlin-Mitte on Wednesday (20 March).
• Beginning at 1000 hours (local time), the activists plan to stage a demonstration outside the Embassy of the Republic of Uganda. The protest is against the construction of the East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) in Uganda and Tanzania.
• In addition, activists from the organizations “Students against EACOP” and “EndFossil” based in Uganda are expected to participate in the demonstration. The protest on Wednesday represents the initial phase of a series of planned protest actions.
