As per reports, around 20,000 workers affiliated with labour unions are scheduled to hold a vehicular rally towards the State Palace in Jakarta on Tuesday (30 December) from several assembly points in West Java against the Governor’s decision to cancel the 2026 Sectoral Minimum Wage (UMSK) recommendation. The workers are demanding transparency in wage determination and are asking the Governor to reconsider the decision.
They have also announced to take further action if their demands are not met.
