A large-scale labour demonstration titled “Aksi Unjuk Rasa: Lawan Ketidakadilan” is scheduled to take place on Thursday (09 July) in Jakarta, according to a digital notice issued by the Federasi Serikat Pekerja Global Indonesia (FSPGI).
• The protest is expected to involve factory workers, labour union representatives, and affiliated worker groups.
• Demonstrators are expected to gather from 2200 hours (local time) until the end of activities, with planned movements between the PT Indonesia Epson Industry area in South Jakarta and diplomatic areas in Central Jakarta, including locations near the Japanese and German embassies.
