As per reports, during the evening hours of Thursday (17 April), a double-decker Citybus service A11 en route to the airport crashed into a central road divider on King’s Road near the recently closed Sunbeam Theatre in North Point. One individual was injured.

• In response to the accident, sections of King’s Road near Tong Shui Road in both directions were closed by local authorities, with drivers redirected to utilize the remaining open lanes.
• Additionally, eastbound tram services between Shu Kuk Street and Tai On Street, as well as westbound services between Holy Cross Path and Shu Kuk Street, were temporarily suspended.
