The Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) has issued a heavy snowfall warning for Ulleungdo and Dokdo on Friday (02 January).

Forecast guidance indicates that 24-hour snowfall accumulation may reach 20 centimetres or more across Ulleungdo and Dokdo. In mountainous areas, snowfall accumulation is expected to be higher, with 24-hour totals reaching 30 centimetres or more.
