According to reports, the Joint Action Council of Tamil Nadu Teachers’ Organisations and Government Employees’ Organisations (JACTTO-GEO) has announced a one-day strike on Tuesday (18 November).

Ahead of the strike, demonstrations will also be held in all taluks (districts) on Sunday (16 November) to demand the immediate implementation of the old pension scheme.
