As per reports, unidentified thieves uprooted an unguarded ATM belonging to a nationalised bank in Samantarapur, Bhubaneswar, and stole approximately INR 10 lakh cash in the early hours of Friday (24 January).
The thieves transported the ATM using a stolen three-wheeler to a secluded location where they accessed the cash using a gas cutter. Residents discovered the missing ATM in the morning and alerted police.
