As per reports, the Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts that parts of Jakarta will experience rainfall on Wednesday (03 January).
• In the morning, light rainfall is predicted in West Jakarta and South Jakarta; cloudy in Central Jakarta, East Jakarta, and North Jakarta; and cloudy in Seribu Islands.
• In the afternoon, rainfall accompanied by lightning will pour in South Jakarta and East Jakarta; cloudy in West Jakarta and Central Jakarta; cloudy in North Jakarta and Seribu Islands.
• At night, light rain will fall in South Jakarta and East Jakarta; and cloudy in West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, North Jakarta, and Seribu Islands.
• Additionally, the rainy season is predicted to peak in February 2024. The Jakarta Regional Disaster Mitigation Agency (BPBD) has mapped 25 subdistricts that are prone to flooding; Rawa Buaya, Tegal Alur, Kedoya Selatan, Kedoya Utara, Kembangan Utara, Cipete Utara, Petogogan, Cipulir, Pondok Pinang, Ulujami, Pondok Labu, Bangka, Pejaten Timur, Jati Padang, Bidara Cina, Kampung Melayu, Cawang, Cililitan, Cipinang Melayu, Kebon Pala, Makasar, Rambutan, Pademangan Barat, Pluit, and Rorotan.
