As per reports, the South African Weather Service issued a yellow level 2 warning for wind and waves for parts of Hout Bay and Plettenberg Bay on Wednesday (16 October).

• Extremely high fire danger conditions are expected over eastern parts of the Northern Cape.
• The wind along the coast of the Northern Cape and Western Cape will be moderate and towards the north-west.
• Meanwhile, the wind along the western part of the Eastern Cape will be moderate and move towards the west of Cape St. Francis.
