As per reports, the National Center of Meteorology issued a warning of heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, and strong winds across the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia until 2000 hours local time through Monday (11 March).
In the Riyadh region, Al-Dawadmi, Al-Rain, Afif Al-Diriyah, Al-Asimah, Al-Muzahmiyah, Harimala, Rumah, Darma, Al-Zulfi, Al-Ghat, Al-Majma’ah, Thadig, Shaqraa, Marat, Al-Hareeq, Al-Kharj, Al-Dalam, and Hotat Bani Tamim are under the warning.
• Warnings are in effect for the city area, which includes Al-Ahed and Wadi Al-Fara. The Makkah Al-Mukarramah region, which includes Al-Ardiyat and Al-Taif, the Najran region including Badr al-Janoub, Thar, Habouna, Khabash, and Yadma.
• Warnings are also in effect for parts of the Eastern Region, which includes Al-Ahsa, Al-Udayd, Abqaiq, Jubail, Al-Khobar, Dammam, Dhahran, Qatif, Ras Tanura, Al-Qaisumah, Hafr Al-Batin, Al-Khafji, Al-Nairiya, and Qaryat Al-Olayya.
• Areas in the Al-Baha region, including Al-Baha, Al-Aqiq, Al-Qura, Al-Mandaq, Bani Hassan, Baljurashi, Al-Makhwah, Al-Hajra, Qalwah, and Ghamid Al-Zanad branch are under the weather warning.
• In the Asir region, Al-Majaridah, Barq, Rijal Alma, Al-Areen, Mahayil, Abha, Ahad Rufaidah, Khamis Mushayt Al-Harjah, Al-Rabou’a, Dhahran Al-Janoub, Sarat Ubaida, Al-Barak and Al-Fahma are also under the weather warning.
