As per reports, the Mauritius Meteorological Service has issued a heavy rain watch for the regions in the East, South and Central Plateau areas through Friday (05 January).

The warning is in effect until 2115 hours local time Friday (05 January) for the areas including Flacq, Curepipe, Plaisance, and Souillac.
