As per reports, Alexandria has experienced heavy rainfall through Wednesday (14 February) morning accompanied by active winds reaching speeds of 30-35 km/h at intermittent intervals. Forecasts indicate that rainfall will continue at intermittent intervals throughout the day.
• Reportedly, Major General Engineer Mahmoud Nafi, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Sanitation Company in Alexandria, announced that the company’s level of preparedness had been raised Tuesday (13 February), in preparation for the rainfall.
• Further, it was company confirmed that 182 cars and equipment are stationed in various parts of Alexandria, stationed in areas where rainwater is expected to collect.
