As per reports, Indian National Congress (INC) leader Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to visit Bhopal on Tuesday (03 June) to launch INC’s ‘Sangathan Srijan Abhiyan’ (Organization Rejuvenation Campaign). He is expected to organize meetings between 1100 hours till 1600 hours to address the party’s organizational structure.
The following are the details of the traffic advisory:
• Rahul Gandhi is expected to arrive in Bhopal around 1020 hours on Tuesday (03 June). The route taken will be from the airport towards PCC office via State Hangar Tiraha, Lalghat, VIP Road, Retghat, Polytechnic Square, Banganga Square, Roshanpura, Apex Bank Tiraha, Link Road One and 1250 Square.
• The general traffic coming from Gandhinagar/Airport will be diverted from Gandhinagar/Asharam Tiraha to Karond via Bypass, when the special plane lands at the airport.
• The traffic from the Polytechnic crossing to VIP Road will be operated via Moti Masjid, Sadar Manzil, Collectorate and Lalghat Over Bridge.
• The traffic from Roshanapura towards Polytechnic Square will be able to commute via Gandhi Park, Old Police Control Room Square, Talaiya Police Station Square, Bharat Talkies Square and Hamidia Road.
• The traffic coming towards Link Road One will be able to travel using Link Road Two.
• All types of heavy vehicles will be banned from these routes. There will be no restrictions on emergency vehicles such as ambulance and fire brigade.
• During the PCC office program, traffic will be diverted from Vyapam towards PCC office, from 1250 crossing towards PCC office and from Singhu Bhawan towards Pcc office.
• During the Ravindra Bhavan program, the traffic from Polytechnic Square to KN Pradhan Square will remain diverted. Parking arrangements for the members attending have been made at the AVM ground.
