As per the forecast issued by the the India Meteorological Department (IMD) the following yellow alerts have been issued in Odisha from Thursday (04 April) to Saturday (06 April).

• Thursday (04 April): Yellow alerts for warm night in Balangir, Kalahandi, Bauda and Kendujhar.
• Friday (05 April): Yellow alerts for heat wave/warm night in Balangir, Kalahandi, Bauda, Kendujhar, Kandhamal, Nayagarh, Cuttak, Jajapur, Bhadrak.
• Saturday (06 April): Yellow alerts for heat wave/warm night in Balangir, Kalahandi, Bauda, Kendujhar, Kandhamal, Nayagarh, Cuttak, Jajapur, Bhadrak, Anugul, Malkangiri.
