IMD issues red, orange and yellow alerts for thunderstorms in parts of Madhya Pradesh on Friday (21 June)

As per the forecast issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD), the following weather conditions are expected over Madhya Pradesh on Friday (21 June):

• Red alerts for thunderstorms, lightning, hailstorms and strong surface winds has been issued in the districts of Jhabua, Chhindwara, Balaghat, Anuppur, Shahdol, and Singrauli.
• Orange alerts for thunderstorms, lightning and strong surface winds has been issued in the districts of Sheopur Kalan, Ashoknagar, Sagar, Chhatarpur, Panna, Damoh, Sidhi, Umaria, Dindori, Mandla, Ujjain, Agar-Malwa, Rajgarh, Shajapur, Sehore, Bhopal, Dewas, Khargone, Burhanpur, Khandwa, Harda,Hoshangabad, and Betul.
• Yellow alerts for thunderstorms, lightning and strong surface winds has been issued in the districts of Morena, Bhind, Datia, Guna, Niwari, Tikamgarh, Raisen, Narsinghpur, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Rewa, Neemuch, Mandaur, Ratlam, Alirajpur, Dhar, Indore, and Barwani.
• Furthermore, a yellow alert has been issued for Gwalior and Shivpuri for thunderstorms and lightning, combined with heatwave conditions. In Vidisha, there is also a yellow alert in effect for thunderstorms, lightning, hailstorms, and strong surface winds.
