The Indian Meteorological Department has issued the following weather updates across Odisha on Sunday (05 July). The following is the detailed weather forecast:
• A red alert for extremely heavy rainfall has been issued in Anugul, Bauda, Sambalpur, Subarnapur, and Kalahandi.
• An orange alert for very heavy rainfall has been issued in Cuttack, Mayurbhanj, Kendurjhar, Bhadrak, Jajapur, Kendraparbha, Dhenkanal, Jagatsinghpur, Khorda, Puri, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Kandhamal, Gajapati, Rayagarha, Koraput, Malkangiri, Nabarangpur, Nuaparha, Balangir, and Baragarh.
• In addition, a yellow alert for heavy rainfall has also been issued in Baleshwar, Deogarh, Sundargarh, and Jharsuguda.
