The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued red and orange alerts across all districts of Kerala on Sunday (25 May).

The districts under red alert for extremely heavy rainfall and strong winds are Kasaragod and Kannur. The rest of the districts (Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Idukki, Ernakulam, Thrissur, Palakkad, Malappuram, Kozhikode and Wayanad) are under an orange alert for very heavy rainfall and strong winds.
