As per the forecast issued by the India Meteorological Department (IMD), on Thursday (11 July), orange alerts for very heavy rainfall, thunderstorms and lightning have been issued in Kheri, Balrampur, Siddharthnagar, Maharajganj, Kushinagar, Deoria, Santkabirnagar and Gorakhpur.
Further, yellow alerts for thunderstorms and lightning have been issued in several other districts including Gautambuddh Nagar, Ghaziabad, Lucknow, Prayagraj, Ayodhya, etc.
