The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued the following weather forecast for Jharkhand districts from Tuesday (28 October) to Friday (31 October):
• On Tuesday (28 October), no weather alerts are in place for Jharkhand.
• On Wednesday and Thursday (29-30 October), a yellow alert for thunderstorms, lightning and squalls with strong surface winds has been issued for all the districts of Jharakhand.
• On Friday (31 October), an orange alert for heavy rainfall, thunderstorm, lightning, and squall accompanied by strong surface winds has been issued for Chatra, Palamu, Garhwa, and Latehar. Additionally, a yellow alert for thunderstorms, lightning, and squalls with strong surface winds has been issued for all the other districts of Jharakhand.
