The India Meteorological Department (IMD) issued red, orange and yellow alerts in Uttarakhand from Tuesday (01 July) to Saturday (05 July):

• Tuesday (01 July): A red alert for very heavy rainfall has been issued in Tehri, Uttarkashi, Dehradun, and Pauri, and an orange alert for very heavy rainfall has been issued in Rudraprayag, Nainital, and Champawat. A yellow alert for heavy rainfall has been issued in Bageshwar, Chamoli, Pithoragarh, Almora, and Haridwar.
• Wednesday-Thursday (02-03 July): An orange alert for heavy rainfall has been issued in Tehri, Uttarkashi, Dehradun, Pauri, Bageshwar, and Nainital, and a yellow alert for heavy rainfall has been issued in Rudraprayag, Champawat, Bageshwar, Chamoli, Pithoragarh, Almora, and Haridwar.
• Friday-Saturday (04-05 July): A yellow alert for heavy rainfall has been issued in all the districts of Uttarakhand.
